Exchange and Return
At Stringin, we believe that thinner margins and broader smiles of our customers will make us successful. We keep no stone un-turned to ensure that we deliver what you order and with quality. While the Return and Exchange policies are listed in mutual interests of Customers and Stringin, we have our ears open to hear your concerns and keep improving by adding various instances as our learnings.
Exchange and Return Policy:
Our return and exchange policy is valid up to 3 days from the day the you receive the delivery. After completion of 3 days, Stringin will not accept requests for refunds and exchange and the product warranty will apply as stated by the product manufacturer.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.
In the situations below, Stringin will process partial refunds:
- Material with obvious signs of use.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our or our logistics partner error.
- Any item that is returned more than 3 days after receiving delivery.
Depending on your shipping address, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval, part approval or rejection of your refund.
The refund will be processed within 3 working days, and a credit will be applied to your Stringin user account. This credit can be used while doing the subsequent purchase(s) on Stringin. In case you decide that you do not wish to make a purchase from Stringin within 30 days then the refund will be processed to credit the refund amount in your Bank Account/ Credit or Debit cards as convenient to you and Stringin. The process to credit the refund in your Bank Account/ Credit or Debit cards will be initiated after we receive an email request from your side. Please write to us at email@example.com for the initiating refund.
Please ensure that the items are properly packed so that the items are not damaged during the return shipment. We suggest that you click a photograph of the item and mail us along with the request for refund.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Stringin will arrange a pickup from your shipping address. Please ensure that the items are properly packed so that the items are not damaged during the shipment. During WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) deliveries, immediate and on-the-spot refunds will be done for cash-on-delivery orders if you receive a different or a damaged product. Once you have accepted WYSIWYG shopping bag delivery, no return request will be accepted, except for manufacturing defects within 3 days of delivery.
Stringin will arrange the pickup from your shipping address. Shipping charges are non-refundable, refund will be given for the item cost only. If shipping charges were not applied to the order, then Stringin reserves the right to deduct the shipping charges incurred in delivering the order, the delivery charges may range from Rs 60 to Rs 125 in normal cases.
Partial refund items
The items falling under partial refund policy and if the items are in usable condition, will not be sold by Stringin. These items will be donated to under-privileged children or non-profit making organisations working in the field of education. Stringin customers have the right to know details about these distributions and we are happy to share details on request.
